  • Family Boat Building Program

The H. Lee White Maritime Museum's annual family boat building program offers you, and your family, to join in on an instructional, hands-on program that culminates in a completed boat for your family use.  There are three styles of boat to choose from - a 9' kayak, 9' Dory lark, or a 12' Bevin Skiff (rated at 600lbs) - and all materials and tools are included in the price of registration.  Pre registration and pre-payment is required as space is limited, and at least one parent/guardian over the age of 18 must be included in the group and present.  The minimum age is 9 due to the level of complexity, and groups must be at least two or more.

The 2015 dates for this program have been scheduled.  The Family Boat Building Program will occur on August 14-16.
