Sheila's current favorite website - Leave A Legacy of Oswego County From their website: LEAVE A LEGACY® of Oswego County: It is a community based program designed to help people learn about charitable giving through a will or estate plan. The program is a cooperative effort to educate community members and legal and professional advisors on the importance and impact of planned charitable giving efforts in Oswego County. Supported by education and training of charities, fundraisers and donor advisors that is provided by a planned giving council(s) It is a national effort to inspire people from all walks of life and all income levels to think beyond their lifespan when doing good works. Imagine how much good could be done if each one of us remembered a favorite charity or cause in our will or estate plan? The impact would be immeasurable! |
