Reflecting the maritime history of the Oswego Harbor area and Lake Ontario, the Museum collection ranges over 400 years. Native American artifacts such as dugout canoes, the original Fresnel lens from the lighthouse, shipbuilding tools, maritime artwork, boat models and more are housed in the main building's many exhibit rooms.
Historic vessels (NYS Derrick Boat 8, fishing boat Eleanor D, National Historic Landmark WWII tug LT-5 and the schooner OMF Ontario) can be found in on and at pierside.
This year, canal tug Chancellor will be joining us.
