• Festival of Ships

Tall Ship replica's Niña & Pinta will be visiting the H. Lee White Maritime Museum on July 21, 22, 23 and will be open to the public for tours between 10-6 pm!  In addition, the National Historic Landmark WWII Normandy Veteran tugboat LT-5, and the National Register of Historic Places Derrick Boat 8 will be open for viewing.

The Niña is a replica of the ship on which Columbus sailed across the Atlantic on his three voyages of discovery to the new world beginning in 1492.  Columbus sailed the tiny ship over 25,000 miles.  That ship was last heard of in 1501, but the new Niña has a different mission - they are a floating museum that visits ports all over the Western Hemisphere.

Pinta was recently built in Brazil to accompany the Nina on all of her travels. She is a larger version of the archetypal caravel and offers larger deck space for walk-aboard tours and has a 40 ft air conditioned main cabin down below with seating.

One admission price permits you to board all 4 ships and visit the Museum.  $10 for adults, $9 for teens/military/seniors, and $6 for children aged 5-16 (4 and under are free!). For more information, give us a call at 315-342-0480.
